You love the city you live in, but you hate the traffic You hate being late to work everyday, you hate to breath the air that hurts your lungs.
Far far away, in our dreams, there's a city. It has a story. It's one of its kind.
The freefinity project aims to build smarter cities which are not only smart in terms of tech, but also in terms of hassles they pose in front of people which live in them. We analyse how to make cities better, minimize traffic, pollution, and litter. How we can build our cities so that they are safe and not vulnerable to natural calamities.
Our Phase 1 involves performing analysis of huge datasets of taxis / cab services, and pollution in the New York City, probably one of the most sought after city in the world.
This project is open to anyone living in any city. We are striving to make this project as global and as collaborative as we can.
We perform big data analytics and are striving to develop state-of-the-art systems which will provide substantial results to build and plan new cities effectively.
View WorksWe wish to tackle a variety of issues. The problems that we wish to solve can be broadly classified into these classes.
The residents of most of our cities are left with no choice but to accept congestion & traffic as a way of life.
The environment opens up opportunities, and our cities are instead moving towards becoming a closed can of dust.
Almost all of our big cities face this problem. As the city grows, its crime control gets weaker.
There are a lot of new mouths to feed. With increasing urbanization, we're moving towards a major problem.
As more people flock to cities, providing clean areas & ensuring a proper channel for waste management becomes a challenge

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented & fabulous?"
